The materials used for the construction of these X-BELT textile products are 100% HT POLYESTER and DYNEEMA SK78. The construction of the straps is always tailored to the technical requirements of the customer (development of supports, sliding channels, angles, and joint shaping). Additionally, there are possibilities for development using textile materials for construction either alone or in combination.
Our straps are made by constructing the tape with only HT PES or HT PES with DYNEEMA. They can also be built entirely with DYNEEMA material (which is more expensive). Stitched multiple times using a specific technique and certain threads, they are joined to form a strap of the desired size for the customer.
The designs of the straps are specifically studied to withstand high loads with minimal elongation. Furthermore, there are various construction possibilities to achieve straps of different heights. In the case of straps where HT PES and DYNEEMA are mixed, products can be constructed to resist abrasion and contact with materials more effectively.
The use of textile straps requires some very important precautions that determine the good functionality and integrity of the material over time. Strap supports must be free from any burrs; exclude 90° angles or channels that may abrade the material of the strap itself. The pins where the strap is placed for extension must have a diameter of at least 5.0 mm. It is recommended to pay close attention to the spring hook as it could be sharp and cut into the tape itself.
The elongation of the strap is determined by the construction material, the type of weaving, and finally, a small amount of air that forms inside the tape. As the materials stretch and extend, the air escapes, stabilizing the elongation of the strap. The shorter the strap is constructed, the less elongation will occur.
